Flint Hills Sunset: Wabaunsee County
A friend and I had an amazing guided tour (thanks Rick!!) of some land south of Alma in Wabaunsee County this weekend. That is a beautiful area of the Flint Hills. If you haven’t visited that area of Kansas you need to. Alma has a lot of historic buildings with some very interesting architecture. Two scenic byways go through Alma and the landscapes and views around there are amazing. This year has been a good year for wildflowers so far and the countryside is very lush and green. Sounds like a good excuse for a drive through the countryside!
I could be very happy just sitting on a hillside out in the Flint Hills somewhere watching the clouds go by…
