"Watching Sunset"

I just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving.  Everyone has a lot to be thankful for even though it may not always seem like it (I know I grumble too much about the negatives even though the positives far outweigh them!).  From a photographic standpoint, I have a tremendous number of things to be thankful for.  I live in an area I love to photograph, I have the freedom to photograph where I want and usually when I want, the area I live in is safe, I have the wealth to be able to afford the ‘luxury’ of photography, I have a wife that is very supportive of my being gone around dinner time a lot and that understands all the hours I put in editing photographs, I’m thankful for the time photography has giving me with my Dad, and I am thankful for all the friends I have made through photography (yes, even the ones that use Nikon equipment!).   I’m thankful for the ability to share my photography through my website, Flickr, and Facebook.  I love photography just for the sake of photography, but it would be a much lessened experience if I couldn’t share the beauty of the world around me so easily.  So thank you to everyone that has followed and supported my photography!

  6. Scott,
Thanks for reminding those of us who are like-minded just what we all have to be thankful for.

I’ve sure enjoyed out time together out shooting photos in Kansas, and will miss it by this time next year, I’m sure.

I’m thankful for all the guidance and encouragement you’ve given this Nikon shooter over the past couple of years.

  7. Thanks Adam! I’ve really enjoyed our photo trips and I’m going to miss them. I’ll be looking forward to seeing all the new areas you will get to photograph though!
