I’m really excited to announce that I’ve been asked to participate in this year’s “Photography For  A Cause” organized by La Brisa Photography.  Photography For A Cause was started by Chris of La Brisa Photography as a way to use his incredible talents to give back to the communities he has worked in.  For the last 2 years Chris has offered prints for sale from which he donates 100% of his profits to one local and one international charity…totaling over $2500.  This year, Chris has expanded his efforts and invited a number of other photographers to participate in the event.  The goal for this year’s Photography For A Cause is to raise $3000.  Each of the photographers participating in the event have selected their own charities to donate to.

I’m thrilled to have a chance to participate this year.  Photography has really made a difference in my life and it is nice to have a chance to use my photography to give back.

So how does this work? Its simple. Just visit Photography For A Cause and scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will find links to galleries for each of the photographers participating in the event. You can also find information on what charities the photographers will be donating to.  Order some prints and get some great work to decorate your home or office (or those of your friends!) and help out some great charities at the same time!  You can also find out more about the event on Facebook.

The photographs I have on sale for the event can be viewed at: http://scottbeanphoto.com/galleries/photoforacause/.  The photographs in this gallery are exclusive to this event and are not offered for sale in any of my other galleries.  I will be donating 100% of the profits from the sale of any of these photographs to the Riley County Humane Society and the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.  Please consider helping out!

Please consider helping get the word out about this great event as well!

Thanks!
